With every treadmill you need to make sure the incline and speed is up to par. This treadmill has 12% incline and a generous 12 mph. This is both more than enough for most. When you consider jogging is around 6 mph then 12 mph is a good fast run. You’ll be running on a cushioned running deck which is 15% kinder than running on the road. This makes a big difference to your progress especially if you’re quite big to begin with.

Most people will simply get on the treadmill and press go and run using the manual option and adjust the settings as you go. Should you want some variation or a routine to challenge yourself then there are workout programs available to you. There are 4 performance and 4 distance workout programs. The performance workouts are designed by a certified personal trainer to help improve your fitness and well being while the distance challenge you at a specified distance.

Should you want some further variation in workout programs then there’s the technological innovative iFit Live system. With this system you can make a wireless connection between the treadmill and the internet to compare your runs with your friends on facebook. A nice addition is to keep you cool during your run is the built in workout fan. As you run you have the option to hear your ipod through the inbuilt acoustic speakers. There’s an ipod compatible port for you to plug in. The warranty is good including labor so you can be sure the treadmill is well made.
