NordicTrack Reflex SR Treadmill Review

The NordicTrack Reflex SR Treadmill is part of the Reflex series. These are treadmills that have the superior cushion technology that NordicTrack have researched. Due to this technology after your run you have less aches and pains and you have less fatigue. This is because the deck is softer to run on so there’s less shock passing through the joints and lower back.

The speed goes up to 12 mph and the incline 12%. This is more than enough and will give you a good challenge should you want it. Most users will simply get on and press start and adjust the speed and incline as they go. Should you variety or a new challenge there are numerous workout programs.

There are 20 personal trainer workouts. These are divided into weight loss, aerobic and performance and will adjust the settings as you go to maximize weight loss or performance depending on your choice. There are 2 heart rate workouts which you use with the heart rate grips. the programs adjusts the settings to keep you at your optimum heart rate for fitness results.

Should you have your own routine or workout then you can create up to 4 workouts and save them to use again. Along with the workout programs there are the 8 weeks of Ifit® workout cards. These are workouts that have a personal trainer talking you through each workout through the premium in built speakers that form part of the console.

There is an ipod port in the console so you can hear your favorite workout music as you run. Near the speakers is the workout fan. This is ideal to keep your body temperature cool as you workout. It has 4 settings which are low, medium and high plus a setting where it can change the airflow in line with the speed you’re running at. So you get a stronger breeze the faster you run.

All the information regarding your run including any workout programs you’re on are shown on the large dot matrix display. This has detailed workout information and a visual representation of your performance and what to expect next.
