Livestrong LSPRO1 Treadmill Review

Livestrong are a foundation started by the famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. He won the grueling Tour de France after surviving a cancer diagnoses. Livestrong Fitness are the equipment side of things. They make equipment with the ethos that being fit and healthy is about regular exercise. As part of equipment being sold a donation is made to the Livestrong foundation to help other people beat cancer as Lance did. The equipment is made for Livestrong by one of the leaders in fitness equipment manufacturing which is Johnson Health Tech.

The Livestrong LSPRO1 treadmill has a speed range of 0 to 12 mph. This is good enough for nearly every runner when you hear that 12 mph equates to a 5 minute mile and you don’t find hardly any home treadmills any faster than this. Not many runners can go that fast at all, jogging is around 6 mph. The incline goes from flat up to 14%. If you like using the incline for maybe uphill walks as a warm up for example. Like the speed, 14% incline is around 2% more than most other treadmills.

The motor is 3.0 horsepower and while you’ll find it powerful it’s also quiet so you won’t have any noise distracting you as you run. You’ll be able to hear a television easily if you plan to have one in front of the treadmill. The treadmill is folding and all of the dimensions are below. The 24 workout programs including the manual where you’ll control the settings yourself. Some of the others include peak intervals, speed intervals, weight loss, rolling hills, mountain climb and much more. This means that whatever fitness level or fitness goal you are or have you’ll find a program that will suit and challenge you.

One useful program is the target heart rate zone. This uses the heart rate sensors to keep your heart beating at the optimum level to improve your fitness as you run. The Livetrack Interactive technology will prove popular. You get a 2 GB USB device included with the treadmill and you plug it in and it downloads your workout history. You then plug this into any computer you have and navigate to the Livestrong website. Here you can see your history and download additional workout programs.

The warranty is very good and includes 5 years of parts as well as 2 years of unlimited in home labor repairs. This can be extended at a price. These details about the warranty should give you peace of mind and shows the manufacturer has confidence in their product especially when you consider the maximum user weight is a massive 375 lbs. This Livestrong LSPRO1 represents a high end treadmill and it’s features are impressive. If you want to take your running seriously then you will want to consider this treadmill.

Livestrong LS5.0U Upright Bike Review

Livestrong Fitness are part of the Livestrong foundation. This was started by the famous American cyclist Lance Armstrong who won the grueling Tour de France race even after surviving a cancer diagnoses. The aim of this foundation is to help others fight and beat cancer as he did. Livestrong Fitness make fitness equipment and a donation is made to the foundation. The equipment is made by Johnson Health Technologies in partnership with the foundation. The Livestrong LS5.0U is the only home upright bike that Livestrong make.

The seat is fully adjustable both horizontally and vertically so you can get to the perfect distance away from the handlebars and pedals for you. The seat is padded and oversized so a user of any size will be comfortable. There are 20 levels of resistance so if you’re a beginner or and experienced biker you’re sure to find the right level for you. For beginners the lower levels are good for a long ride to encourage weight loss. The mid to higher levels are good for toning and shaping the lower legs, thighs and buttocks.

There are 11 workout programs which are ideal for those who have specific fitness goals. These workouts can help you achieve these goals by giving you a challenge. Otherwise there’s always the manual program where you change the settings for yourself. The bike has Livetrack Interactive technology. With this you plug in a USB storage device into the USB slot that the bike has. It will then transfer your workout results to this device. You then plug the device into any computer and you’ll be able to track your workout history at Livestrong.com.

The pedals are closer together to make for a more natural ride. They have a strap on them too so you can easily pedal away without fear that you may suddenly lose your footing. The bike will arrive needing minor assembly. One reviewer at Livestrong said it takes longer to get the bike out of it’s packaging than it does to assemble so it is a relatively easy job once you’ve received the bike. The assembled weight of the bike is 86 lbs so it easy to transport and lift while it’s tough enough to have a 10 years warranty on the frame.

The other warranty’s are 1 year for parts and electronics and a year of in home labor. This is good for a bike if this class, you’re not paying much and other manufacturers don’t offer a full year of labor. One feature that will impress is the ability to plug in an ipod or other MP3 device and have your favorite music being played through the surround sound speaker system. Overall we think the Livestrong LS5.0U is an impressive and good value upright bike. You’ll be able to achieve your fitness goals and more all from the comfort of your own home.

Livestrong LS6.0R Recumbent Bike Review

Livestrong is a foundation that was formed by the famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. Lance suffered from and beat cancer. He still went on to win the toughest cycling race which is the Tour de France several times despite beating cancer. He formed the foundation to help others who are suffering from the disease. Livestrong Fitness has made a $4 million donation from the contribution of the sales of their equipment. Livestrong Fitness equipment is made by the leading fitness equipment manufacturer today which is Johnson Health Technologies.

This Livestrong LS6.0R recumbent bike is exercise by cycling with a difference. Being recumbent you get to exercise in a very comfortable sit down position which leaves you free to read a book or magazine while you exercise. The bike has a fully adjustable seat so you can set yourself up with the perfect distance away from the pedals for you. The seat is fully padded and provides the correct lumbar support for your back. The console is easy to read and use and you’ll be able to get started quickly.

There are 20 levels of magnetic resistance so you’ll get a good workout whatever your fitness level. You’ll be pushing a fluid motion flywheel as you ride. This gives you a nice and smooth natural motion and if you stop pedaling the wheel uses FreeSpin technology allowing you to coast comfortably instead of stopping with a sudden movement. You have 11 preprogrammed workouts that will enable you to vary your fitness routines and help you attain your fitness goals.

The bike comes with a USB device that you simply plug into the console and this device stores your workout history and information. You then plug the USB device into any computer (PC’s usually have multiple USB slots). You can then access your workout history using the Livestrong interactive website. There are also workout programs by Lance Armstrong’s conditioning coach that you’ll be able to download and add to the bike. This is something you’ll see on fitness equipment a lot more as the technology improves.

With all the exercising you’ll no doubt work up a sweat. This is where the built in personal fan will help by blowing a cooling breeze on you as you go. The built in mp3 sound system will provide you with entertainment as you ride. There are speakers built into the console and you simply plug in your mp3 device and the speakers will play whatever you’re playing on your mp3 player. As you can see the Livestrong LS6.0R recumbent bike has plenty of features from those that get you fit to those that help you enjoy your exercise making it a very promising bike.

Livestrong LS5.0R Recumbent Bike Review

Livestrong is a foundation that helps improve the lives of the 28 million cancer sufferers today. The foundation was started by Lance Armstrong the famous cyclist who suffered from and beat caner himself. When he got the all clear he went back to professional cycling and won the prestigious Tour de France several times. A donation is made by Livestrong fitness when their equipment is sold. Livestrong equipment is manufactured to the highest standards and this includes the Livestrong bikes.

The seat is padded throughout to make your ride comfortable. It adjusts back and forward so you can get to the perfect length from the pedals for your feet. All the while the console is within easy reach. So if you wanted you can easily just sit down and adjust the seat the first time you get on and ride straight away. The manual program is there for this purpose. You decide how long and how hard you ride and the settings are there if you want to make any changes to the resistance. All the information reads on the display as you go.

There are 16 levels of resistance. The lower levels will be suitable for beginners or those who want to take on a long ride for weight loss and calorie burning perhaps. The higher levels are good for experienced riders who want a harder ride. It’s just like going up a hill with different gradients so it will work and shape your buttocks, thighs and legs if you can do some of your workout at these levels. Including the manual program there are 9 workout programs for you to choose from.

These programs will have you working out to different routines. If you’re after a challenge from the manual program then these are worth considering. At first you might find some of them a bit tough but as you progress and get fitter they will become rewardingly easier over time. There is a heart rate monitor built in to the bike. Simply by holding the hand grips your heart rate is monitored and displayed on the console. This gives you a great indication on how your body is coping with the exercise you’re doing.

What is very popular about recumbent bikes is you can read a magazine or book while exercising. You can do this here by simply resting your reading material against the console. For the price the good thing about this bike is it warranty which is 7 years for the frame and 1 year of labor. It has everything you need to improve your overall health no matter what age or fitness level you’re starting at. Cycling is easy and there are no impact on the joints so if you’re trying to lose weight a recumbent exercise bike is ideal which makes the Livestrong LS5.0R a great choice.

Livestrong E1x Elliptical Review

Livestrong is a foundation whose aim is to help people fight cancer. The foundation was founded by the famous cancer surviver Lance Armstrong. He suffered and survived cancer and still went on to win several Tour de France cycling races which are one of the most physically demanding races in the world. Livestrong fitness is a way of Lance to provide quality equipment to the public to help their health and the foundation gets a donation too. The commercial equipment is made by the successful manufacturer Matrix.

What’s needed in any elliptical especially ones that go into a health club or gym are easy to use controls and a straight forward manual workout program. This means anyone can just get on the elliptical and ride while controlling all the settings yourself. These are easy to read and are clear to see on the console. The resistance is applied using a JID hybrid generator which is a maintenance free resistance technology. The power is drawn from the rider even for the resistance as well as the display.

There are 20 levels of resistance. The lower levels will be ideal for those who want to lose weight with a long calorie burning ride or just for a beginner. The higher levels will be good for either those who want to vary their workout by getting aerobic and anaerobic benefits, or those who simply want a tough workout to tone the legs, thighs and buttocks. It can all be done with this elliptical without forgetting the handlebars which provide the upper body and core their own workout. All this is done at any resistance in a smooth, natural way due to the design of the elliptical itself.

The console is 7″ bright blue backlit LCD which gives you your workout information including the following; time, distance, calories, speed, level, watts, METs, heart rate and profile. The workout programs you have are manual and interval plus, this is divided into hill interval and random interval. There is a goal plus workout which divides into time goal, distance goal and calories goal. You don’t get many programs but you never do with commercial machines. You pay for the build quality and the ability to handle hours of daily use.

One feature that will come in handy are the easily accessible thumb switch controls. The water bottle holder may be benign but is something very much needed for the experienced elliptical user who will need hydration every ten minutes or so. The pedals run on tracks and are aligned to make it comfortable and natural on the legs and feet when you ride. Overall the Livestrong E1x elliptical is a professional quality piece of fitness equipment that will outperform whether it’s in the home or the local health club.

Livestrong T1xe Treadmill Review

Livestrong was founded by Lance Armstrong. Lance is a famous cyclist who won the Tour de France several times even after surviving cancer. For someone to win an endurance race after living through cancer is very inspirational. He decided to form the Livestrong foundation to help others who are suffering from cancer. The Livestrong fitness equipment is inspired by Lance and a donation is made to the foundation of $4 million. The Livestrong T1xe treadmill is made by Matrix who make their own line of successful commercial fitness equipment.

The treadmill has a speed range from 0.5 mph to 12 mph. This is a good range and is what you’ll find on most treadmills in gyms or health clubs. To give you an idea of speed jogging is around 6 mph and 12 mph equates to a 5 minute mile. There’s not many people who can achieve a 5 minute mile and you wouldn’t normally find them on a treadmill, they’ll go to a running track. The incline goes up to 15% so you get quite a gradient. Some people like doing an uphill warm up or cool down and that can be done here.

The deck is 60″ long so runners with any length of stride will be ok here. The width is 20″ so even the most unconfident new starter should feel they can learn to run on this treadmill easily. The deck is cushioned with a commercial system so there is less impact on the joints. The fact that the deck needs no maintenance until it’s done 25,000 miles will save money for the health center or ease the mind of the home buyer. The step up to the deck is a low 7.5″ so it’s easily accessible.

The console as you can see by the picture has clear buttons which do the job you want it to do. The 7″ screen has two functions. It shows all the workout information you need including speed, distance, calories burned and more. It also is a digital television. As you see so much in health centers today the treadmills being used are the ones with the TV’s attached. It’s something clearly wanted and you have it here on the Livestrong T1xe. It makes your workout go quicker and is something to do while some runners go those miles.

The manual workout program where you control all the settings will probably be used the most. There are other workout options and these are rolling hills, fat burn, 5k, target HR and Gerkin protocol. The heart rate program is used with the heart rate sensors or it can pick up the heart rate from a chest belt. The T1xe is a great treadmill and is the step up from the T1x. The T1x doesn’t have the 7″ TV and that is the only difference. Whether you’re a commercial operator or a home user you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the Livestrong T1xe treadmill so it’s one to consider.

Livestrong T1x Treadmill Review

Livestrong is a foundation founded by Lance Armstrong. Lance is an athlete who won the famous Tour de France cycling race multiple times even after surviving a cancer diagnoses. People have found his story to be an inspiration on how to achieve amazing physical success despite having an illness that often proves fatal. Livestrong Fitness makes fitness equipment approved by Lance and they’ve agreed a donation for every machine sold. The commercial equipment is made by Matrix who are one of the leaders when it comes to commercial fitness equipment. The Livestrong T1x treadmill is the combination of these companies.

The treadmill has a top speed of 12 mph which equates to 19.3 kph. This is more than enough speed for nearly every runner out there. When you consider jogging is 6 mph then 12 mph is very fast, it’s a 5 minute mile and there aren’t many people who can achieve that. Any faster than that will be a bit dangerous on a treadmill. The incline goes to 15% so any power walkers will be happy with this and it will provide great legs and buttocks toning. Likewise experienced runners who like a hilly course to run should be pleased too.

The console is large and easy to use. You have simple button pushes to increase the speed and the incline. You can choose a workout program from a choice of 6. This includes the manual program which is probably what most runners will use. There is a quick start button for a no nonsense run for those who want to get on and go. Commercial grade components have been used everywhere including the 2 ply belt. The deck is hard wax reversible and there is no silicone or waxing required for the first 25,000 miles.

The workout programs you get are manual, rolling hills, fat burn, 5k, target heart rate and the Gerkin protocol. Rolling hills is self explanatory and is where the incline changes to simulate hills. Fat burn may prove popular for those wishing to lose weight. 5k is the 3.2 miles. Target heart rate uses the built in heart rate sensors. This adjusts the treadmill to keep your heart rate at a predetermined target. This can be very beneficial if the effort is made to work out what your heart rate should be before hand. The Gerkin protocol is typically used by athletes and those in professions like fire fighting and helps measure your VO2 max.

The console displays all the information you’d expect including speed, incline, elapsed time, distance, pace, heart rate, time remaining and calories. As you can see by the picture the console is simple and clear. This is what helps this treadmill be used in commercial premises where new and experienced treadmill users may be using this treadmill. Overall the Livestrong T1x treadmill is a formidable machine that’s good for the home or a commercial facility. It’s designed to last and should not to let you down.

Livestrong LS8.0T Treadmill Review

The Livestrong brand is the brainchild of Lance Armstrong the famous cyclist. He survived cancer and still won the famous Tour de France cycle race multiple times. He formed the Livestrong foundation to help others fight cancer as he did. Livestrong Fitness is the fitness equipment off shoot of Livestrong and is made by one of the leading fitness equipment manufacturers. A donation is made when a piece of equipment is sold including this Livestrong LS8.0T treadmill.

The treadmill has a maximum speed of 12 mph which is faster than you’ll need. High spec treadmills usually only go this speed at maximum and when you consider jogging is around 6 mph them 12 mph is more than enough. The incline goes to 12% so those who like weight loss hill walking are catered for as well as those who like tough uphill runs. All these settings are easily controlled from the console.

There are 9 workout programs. These are manual, two weight loss, two power walk, two walk/run and two incline. The manual as it’s name suggests is where you control the settings yourself. This is the one you’ll probably use the most. If you have a particular fitness goal or feel like some variety of challenge in your workouts then another program may be suitable. The weight loss programs are designed to burn the maximum amount of calories while the power walk will tone your legs. The Walk/run programs are great for beginners and the inclines will provide a different challenge.

The treadmill has various ways of measuring your performance. The console will show you readouts like calories burned, speed and more. The heart rate control grips will tell you how your heart is performing. This will get lower as your fitness improves following a regular routine. There is a LiveTrack Fitness Journal. This allows you to compare your last, average and lifetime workouts. You can also view weekly totals and lifetime totals. This is great for some motivation and to see how you’re progressing.

The little luxuries are why we think this treadmill has features you’ll find in commercial treadmills and you’ll like these. There is a workout fan that will blow a much needed cool breeze on you as you run. The built in sound system with speakers will play your favorite running music if you plug in your ipod or compatible mp3 player. Combine all this with the warranties including lifetime on the motor and this gives you an impressive treadmill that is built to please and that is the Livestrong LS8.0T.

Livestrong Fitness was formed is an offshoot of the foundation started by the famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. Lance Armstrong survived cancer and still managed to achieve extraordinary athletic feats even after the diagnoses. This is very rare in the sport of cycling which is renown for how tough it can be on the human body as it requires immense stamina. He formed this foundation in order to help other people fight cancer like he did.

Livestrong Fitness equipment is made by one of the leading fitness equipment manufacturers especially for Livestrong. The equipment was only designed a couple of years ago so it features all the latest technologies and design incorporated into fitness equipment today. Therefore the equipment is well made and very effective for those who want good workouts.

The range of Livestrong Fitness equipment goes to treadmills, ellipticals and of course being associated with Lance Armstrong, exercise bikes. All have the Livestrong Fitness livery and a donation is made to the foundation when a purchase is made. This doesn’t affect the price or quality of the equipment which is very reasonable. You have a choice of different models within the type of equipment you choose.

Treadmills

There are 3 treadmills on offer and all are reasonably priced. We’ve reviewed nearly a hundred treadmills on this website and not many come as feature packed as Livestrong treadmills. They are all sturdily built and even the entry level (LS7.9T) has a maximum user capacity of 325 lbs rising to 350 lbs for the LS13.0T. The speed of all of them go up to 12 mph which is very good and is the best upper limit to have on a treadmill.

They all have good inclines for those who like to workout on a slope or do incline uphill walking. The running decks all feature special cushioning to help protect your leg joints and lower back while running. The range of workout programs is very good with those with particular fitness goals are catered for as you have weight loss programs as well as 5k, 10k, speed intervals and more. All this makes these treadmills ideal for beginners as well as experienced runners and there is not a lot of difference between them.

Ellipticals

There are also 3 ellipticals on offer. All are ranked in features from the lower model to the higher with the higher having more features or advanced features than the lowest. They are all worth their price though and all will give you a great workout. The user capacity starts at 300 lbs for the LS8.0E and rises to 350 lbs for the lS13.0E. All have plenty of resistance options with the LS8.0E having 16 and the other two 20.

If we had to give a recommendation we would say go for the LS10.0E or the LS13.0E as while the LS8.0E is a good elliptical you are better off paying that little bit more for the features you get with the others. For example you have a built in sound system with the higher two where you can plug in an ipod. The incline is controlled digitally with the higher two but with the LS8.0E it is controlled manually and you only have 5 levels.

Exercise Bikes

There are 2 exercise bikes available and these are totally different bikes. One is a spin bike and the other is a recumbent exercise bike. The spin bike is more like cycling because it is upright and is still different from other exercise bikes because iIt’s designed for vigorous spin cycling to music. The recumbent exercise bike is more like a traditional exercise bike with all the features they contain.

The recumbent bike (LS7.0B) is quite a bit cheaper than the spin bike and features workout programs whereas the indoor cycle spin bike (LS9.9IC) comes with a workout DVD. The recumbent bike being recumbent means you can workout in a very comfortable position and it has a built in sound system with ipod connectivity. If you want a serious workout tool then go for the LS9.9IC spin bike but for more traditional workouts with fitness goals like weight loss then go for the LS7.0B recumbent bike.

Livestrong LS13.0T Treadmill Review

Livestrong is the foundation formed by the famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. Lance is famous for winning the Tour de France which is a strenuous cycling event and this was after he survived cancer. He formed the foundation as a way to help others fight and beat cancer as he did. Livestrong Fitness make equipment from a leading fitness equipment manufacturer and a donation is made to the foundation when an item is bought.

The treadmill console gives you detailed workout information as you run and you control all the settings from there. Some of them are as simple a a press of a button which is good to have when you need to change something while running. The speed goes up to 12 mph which is more than enough even for experienced runners when you consider gentle jogging is around 6 mph.

The incline goes to 14% and is controlled by the motor from your console selection. The lower levels above flat will give you a gentle climb while the upper levels will give the legs a very good workout. Some do speed walking at a great incline and you can do that here too. The running area is particularly long at 60″ so if you’re tall and have a long stride or simply not confident then you’ll be ok on this deck.

There are 14 workout programs which give some variation and a challenge from a manual start. Some of these are called weight loss, speed intervals, foot hills, rolling hills, 5k, 10k and more. These will especially help if you have a particular fitness goal in mind. A lot of these you can set on different levels of difficulty so the same program can be used on a beginner at a lower level and experienced runner at a higher level.

The treadmill comes with a wireless chest strap heart rate monitor which can be read from the console. This is great for getting an accurate reading of your heart rate as you run. There are 2 workout programs which use this heart rate reading. They adjust the settings in order to keep your heart rate at the optimum level for exercising depending on your age and gender. This is a very effective way of working out.

The treadmill can track your runs using the Livetrack fitness journal where you can compare one run with another. There is a USB stick where you can download extra workout programs from the Livestrong Fitness website. The workout fan blows a cooling breeze on you as you run which will please many. The built in sound system with ipod connectivity will please too. Overall the Livestrong LS13.0T is an impressive treadmill that should give you years of workout pleasure.

Livestrong LS10.0T Treadmill Review

Livestrong is a foundation formed by the famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. Lance formed it after he survived a deadly cancer diagnoses. Even when he recovered he achieved amazing athletic feats by winning the Tour de France cycling tournament. He formed the foundation to help others fight cancer and succeed the way he did. Livestrong fitness is an offshoot and a donation is made to the foundation when equipment is bought.

The controls and console of the treadmill are at arms height in front of you as you get on. Many of the settings are selected using a single button so the treadmill is easy to operate. The console gives you detailed information about your run. The speed goes up to 12 mph and when you consider jogging is around 6 mph then this treadmill has enough speed even for experienced runners.

The incline goes to 12%. The lower levels are like a gentle climb whereas the higher levels will feel like a steep hill. For those who like a steep walk to work the legs and buttocks you can do this. The running area is nice and big so you can run with confidence if you’re a beginner and there are handle rails if needed. The handlebars will measure your heart rate which is a guide to how your body is working.

The workout programs number 12 and with many of them you can set different levels so you can make them as hard or easy as you like. Some of the programs include speed intervals, weight loss, rolling hills, foot hills, 5k, 10k and more. You can also create custom workouts if you feel you could make a better program for you. The treadmill comes with a USB stick so you can download your workouts and also upload new ones from the Livestrong website.

There are some features that you’ll really appreciate. One is the workout fan. Have a cooling breeze blow on you as you run. There is also a sound system with ipod docking. Simply plug in your ipod and you can hear your favorite running music coming out of the speakers as you run. As you can see the Livestrong 10.0T treadmill really is feature packed and you’re bound to get some great workouts from using it.

Livestrong LS13.0E Elliptical Review

Livestrong is the foundation founded by the famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. He started it after surviving cancer and still winning bike races after he recovered. He started it to help others going through a cancer diagnoses and is a symbol to show how others can recover as well as him. Livestrong fitness and the fitness equipment is a branch of the foundation and a donation is made for every piece of equipment sold.

The Livestrong LS13.0E elliptical comes with a massive 20 different levels of resistance and incline and the incline goes from 5% to 100%. This gives an enormous variation to the workout you can give yourself. You can go from a gentle slope to a hard uphill climb to help you work your thighs and buttock muscles to a hard or soft degree. This is easily controlled at the touch of a button and makes the elliptical suitable for both beginners and experienced elliptical riders.

This Livestrong elliptical comes with 12 workout programs and these are all easily selectable from the console. All are designed to give you a variety of workouts to achieve various aims. You also get the addition of a fitness journal. This allows you to compare previous workouts and you can set yourself weekly and lifetime goals. Research has shown this is a great way to keep people working out and getting closer to achieving your goals whether that’s weight loss or improving fitness.

The pedals have been specially designed to allow a fluid motion and they slightly overlap. This is because they mimic a natural walking type motion. As you walk your feet pass very close together and this elliptical mimics that movement. This makes your workouts more natural and helps prevent any overuse pain or injuries. Everything has been thought of when it cones to this elliptical.

Even the little luxuries are there too like a workout fan to keep you cool as you ride. There are speakers to play your favorite workout music. All you have to do is plug in an mp3 player or an ipod, that’ll connect too, and you can enjoy your motivational music as you ride. All this makes the Livestrong LS13.0E an impressive elliptical for any user whether you’re a beginner or experienced user and whatever your fitness aims. It’s ideal for the whole family.

LiveStrong LS9.9IC Spin Bike Review

LiveStrong is the name of the foundation formed by Lance Armstrong the famous cyclist who achieved extraordinary athletic accomplishments before and after surviving a deadly cancer diagnosis. LiveStrong Fitness is a way of providing quality fitness equipment which echoes the LiveStrong ethos of improving your health and lifestyle. With every purchase a donation is made to the LiveStrong Foundation to help people fight cancer.

The LS9.9IC is the only indoor cycle by LiveStrong and being connected to Lance Armstrong is probably their most important piece of equipment. It’s in the style of a spin bike and is designed to give you maximum benefit for the exercise you do. “Spinning” to music or with the included DVD is a fantastic way to achieve fitness or weight loss in a very short amount of time, it’s a very effective workout.

The seat is air filled and comfortable, it has height and horizontal adjustment so you can set the perfect amount of space between the seat and the handlebars. This is adjusted pulling the knob and moving the seat to the position you want and letting go of the knob and the seat snaps securely into place. This is the same with the height adjustment of the handlebars.

The handlebars are large and allow you to stand upright or lean forward with the many hand positions available. Easily accessible is the bottle holder for some refreshment as you ride. The flywheel is 40 lbs and the braking system and belt are made using kevlar and are built to last. The resistance is easily controlled and allows a gentle ride for beginners to a challenging uphill climb if wanted.

The brake means a safe controlled quick slow down as required. For some workout suggestions and help with form there’s a workout DVD that will show you the way. It also contains 54 workouts that will help people of all fitness levels get a good workout. The console gives you details of speed, calories and heart rate using the built in pulse sensors. Overall the LiveStrong LS9.9IC spin bike has the potential to provide rewarding workouts for years to come.

LiveStrong LS9.9T Treadmill Review

LiveStrong Fitness is part of the LiveStrong Foundation formed by the world famous cyclist Lance Armstrong. He achieved amazing athletic feats before and after surviving a deadly cancer diagnosis. He formed the foundation to help others fight cancer. LiveStrong Fitness sells fitness equipment and makes a donation to the foundation at the same time. The equipment is made by a leading fitness equipment manufacturer.

The LiveStrong LS9.9T treadmill has a speed range of 0 to 12 mph which compares well to other treadmills. Jogging is usually 6 to 7 mph so you can see the treadmill has more than enough speed for most. The incline goes up to 12% to give you a hill climb and some elevation for harder runs or as part of a hill based workout program. These are both controlled easily from the console by pressing the appropriate button.

There are 12 workout programs and these make this particular model stand out from the budget model. Not only does it have more programs but most have 10 intensity levels so as your fitness improves you can raise the intensity. This is what makes the treadmill so good for people of all fitness levels. The variety of programs is good and will suit anyone in the family whatever their fitness aims.

A great feature of LiveStrong Fitness equipment is the LiveTrack fitness journal. This stores your workout results and data for your last runs. As you improve and run further or faster or lose more calories your score gets better after each workout. This means you’re performance is tracked over time and is a great tool for motivation and self satisfaction. This is something that really helps you get the most from your equipment.

Comfort and entertainment are part of this treadmill too as there’s a cooling fan to keep you cool as you run. There is a music port so you can plug in an ipod, mp3 player or CD player and have your music played through the in built speakers. Combine all these features with the large user capacity of 325 lbs and good warranty and you can see the LiveStrong LS9.9T treadmill is one to seriously consider.

As well as having workout programs and good cushioning it has the luxuries like a sound system and workout fan.

Features

Large running surface for plenty of room to run confidently

Large console gives detailed information before, during and after workouts

Good variety of workout programs to help achieve a variety of fitness aims

Exceptional weight capacity for the price, 325 lbs

LiveStrong LS7.9T Treadmill Review

LiveStrong Fitness is an off shoot of the Lance Armstrong LiveStrong Foundation. Lance Armstrong is the world famous cyclist who formed this foundation after surviving a life threatening cancer diagnosis. It’s mission is to help people fight cancer and sales of the fitness equipment makes a sizable donation to the foundation. The equipment is of high quality and well made which the LS7.9T treadmill proves.

The treadmill has a speed rising to a maximum of 12 mph which is more than enough when you consider jogging is normally 6 to 7 mph. The incline rises to 12% which is a standard amount for most treadmills and means you can get some tough uphill climbs in your run if you wish. These are both controlled using the quick keys on the console as you exercise or part of a workout program.

There are 9 workout programs available which can help you achieve a variety of fitness aims for people of all fitness levels. What you do is pick your program and the length of time you want it to last. You then get 4 minutes of warm up then the program begins followed by 4 minutes of cool down at the end. The programs are weight loss, incline, speed, walk/run, power walk and more. The intensity of the program can be adjusted as you workout.

One outstanding feature is the LiveTrack fitness journal system. This feature stores the workouts you’ve done and lets you compare them over time. You’re able to see your performance as an average using data from your last 30 workouts. As you finish each workout you’ll be able to see the average and other information change as you progress. It has the potential to be very enjoyable and rewarding and the LS7.9T has it.

A nice added extra is the workout fan, this is becoming increasingly popular and is nice to see and experience during a hard workout. The sound system is good for an ipod, mp3 player or CD player that you connect to the jack so you can have your favorite running music being played through the inbuilt speakers. All this makes the LiveStrong LS7.9T treadmill a great treadmill at a great price.

This foundation was formed by world famous cyclist Lance Armstrong who achieved amazing athletic achievements before and after surviving a deadly cancer diagnosis. The aim of the foundation is to help people fight cancer. LiveStrong Fitness make a substantial contribution using the sale of their specially made fitness equipment.

The LS16.9T treadmill is very like those you’ll find in fitness centers, it’s a large treadmill that can take a user capacity of 400 lbs. The speed range is 0 to 12 mph and the incline rises to a hill climbing 15% which are both controlled at the touch of a button. You’ll find these figures compare well to commercial treadmills so you get just as good a runt in the comfort of your own home.

The rolling hills program will provide an appealing challenge. Then there’s the 5k, interval, power walk, mountain climb and more. What’s great is the difficulty level of each program can be adjusted so you can make them easier or harder depending on your fitness level.

The LiveTrack fitness journal is a software program built into the console. This will enable you to store workouts for a number of users. This is used to measure your performance of your last 5 workouts. After each workout it shows how you’ve progressed so you can see over time how your fitness and health have improved. This is a great tool for motivation because you’re given evidence of your success.

As you run there’s a workout fan to keep you cool. Simply connect your ipod or mp3 player into the audio jack and you’ll be able to hear your favorite running music from the built in premium Pioneer speakers. The excellent warranty (detailed below) should put you at ease to show the treadmill is built to last. All this makes the LiveStrong LS16.9T treadmill an impressive piece of fitness equipment that can make a big difference to your health and fitness.

LiveStrong LS12.9T Treadmill Review

LiveStrong Fitness sell fitness equipment as part of the LiveStrong Foundation formed by Lance Armstrong the world famous cyclist. Lance famously made exceptional athletic achievements before and after beating cancer. The foundation helps people fight cancer like he did. LiveStrong make a substantial donation by selling fitness equipment made by a leading fitness equipment manufacturer made specifically for LiveStrong.

The LiveStrong LS12.9T treadmill is one model lower than the most expensive and compares very well. The speed range is the same as most treadmills which is 0 to 12 mph. Jogging is around 7 mph so this treadmill can take a very fast run. The incline goes to 14% which again is about the same as most treadmills. These are powered by the strong quiet motor and controlled with a simple push of a button on the console.

A choice of 14 workout programs ensure you can always have a different run or routine. Many are designed to help achieve particular fitness aims like the weight loss program. Experienced runners may appreciate the speed interval or the 10k programs. The intensity of most can be changed from a level between 1 and 10 so you can tailor the program to your personal fitness level or experience.

The console display gives you detailed workout information including time, distance, speed, calories and heart rate. The heart rate is measured using the pulse contact grips. There’s a workout program that uses this information which changes the incline to keep your heart beating at the optimum level. There’s also a LiveTrack fitness journal which measures your performance from your last 5 workouts which gets better as you progress.

To keep you cool during your workout you have a cooling fan and there’s a water bottle holder within good reach for liquid when needed. For entertainment there’s an audio jack so you can plug in an ipod or mp3 device and hear your favorite running music from the built in speakers. All this makes the LiveStrong LS12.9T a very good treadmill at the price which is designed to give years of regular effective workouts.
